The idea

A quiet guardian for your child’s wrist.

KidoGuard is a small, screenless band a child wears like a soft bracelet. It’s light enough to forget you’re wearing it, tough enough for everyday play, and made from gentle, skin-friendly material that’s kind even to the most sensitive little wrists.

Underneath that calm exterior, it’s quietly looking out for your child — keeping a gentle eye on their wellbeing, noticing if something seems wrong, helping you find them if they wander, and letting them reach you at the press of a button. And it does all of this while respecting your child’s privacy at every step.

There’s no screen to distract them, no camera, and nothing about their day is ever recorded or stored. KidoGuard is built on a simple belief: a parent should be able to feel completely at ease, and a child should still get to be a child — free, unwatched, and trusted.

What it does

Everything a worried parent wishes for — and nothing they’d worry about.

Here’s what KidoGuard quietly takes care of, explained plainly.

Find them, without GPS or a SIM

If your child wanders out of sight, you can see where they are right from your phone — no GPS chip, no SIM card, no monthly bill. KidoGuard finds its way back to you using the everyday devices already around your child, so you’re never left guessing and they’re never wrapped in bulky tracking gear.

Safe zones that watch the edges

Mark the places your child belongs — home, school, grandma’s, the park — and KidoGuard gently lets you know the moment they step outside one. It’s peace of mind that lives quietly in the background and only speaks up when it matters.

A gentle eye on wellbeing

KidoGuard keeps soft track of your child’s heart rate and oxygen levels through the day and lets you know if something looks unusual. It’s the kind of quiet reassurance that’s easy to ignore on a good day and priceless on a worrying one.

It hears distress — and keeps no secrets

KidoGuard can recognise the sound of a child in real distress and alert you straight away. To do it, it never records, saves, or sends a single second of audio — the listening happens in the moment and is gone instantly. Your child’s voice, and their day, stay theirs.

If they fall, it knows

A hard fall is something a child can’t always tell you about. KidoGuard can sense a serious tumble on its own and raise the alarm, so help can come even when your child can’t ask for it.

Smart alerts, not constant false alarms

Most safety gadgets cry wolf at every bump — until you stop trusting them. KidoGuard waits for more than one sign of real trouble before sounding an emergency. So when it does alert you, you’ll know it’s worth your attention.

One button to reach you

Sometimes a child just needs you. A single press on the band sends a quiet call for help straight to your phone — simple enough for even the youngest hands.

Made to keep going

KidoGuard lasts for days between charges, tops up through a safe, child-friendly magnetic clip with no exposed ports, and even sips a little extra energy from sunlight when your child plays outdoors. It’s also fully swim- and bath-proof, so it never has to come off.

Everything in one calm app

On your phone, KidoGuard becomes a single, simple home for everything: where your child is, how they’re doing, their safe zones, and any alerts — designed to be clear at a glance, even in a moment of panic. Works on both Android and iPhone.

Our promise

Safety should never cost a child their privacy.

It would be easy to keep a child safe by watching everything they do. We refuse to build that. KidoGuard is designed from the ground up to protect your child without ever becoming a surveillance device.

There is no camera — and there never will be, in any version we make. Audio is never stored or sent anywhere; it’s used only in the instant it’s needed, then it’s gone. Your child’s location is encrypted so that only you can see it — not us, and not strangers. And it isn’t a live map of their every step; it’s there for the moments you actually need it.

Everything KidoGuard learns about your child belongs to you. You can see exactly what it keeps, and you can delete all of it, anytime, with a tap. Children this young can’t meaningfully agree to being watched — so we built KidoGuard to earn your trust instead.

No camera, ever No audio kept Encrypted location You own your data Delete anytime
Why it isn’t here yet

Still being made. Made to be worth the wait.

We’re building something that goes on a child’s wrist and earns a parent’s complete trust — and that isn’t something to rush. There’s no countdown here and no hype, just careful, patient work until every detail is right. If you’d like to help shape it, we’d love to hear from you.

Ketanjit Singh · Founder
The founder

Built by someone who couldn’t stop thinking about it.

KidoGuard is the work of Ketanjit Singh — a fifteen-year-old founder from Bengaluru who started this not as a business plan, but as a feeling.

“It began with that half-second every family knows — the cold flash of not being able to see your kid in a crowd. I went looking for something to fix it, and everything I found asked for too much: a phone strapped to a small wrist, a microphone in their pocket, a map that never stopped watching. A child isn’t a parcel to be tracked.”

So he set out to build the opposite — something that keeps a child within reach without ever putting them under surveillance. Calm for the parent. Freedom for the child. Nothing kept that shouldn’t be.

“It’s taking time, and it’s taking more. I’d rather get it right than get it out.”

Questions parents ask

Honest answers, before you ask.

What is KidoGuard?

KidoGuard is a small, screenless safety wristband for children aged 3 to 10. It quietly watches over a child’s wellbeing, helps parents find them, and lets the child call for help — all while keeping the child’s day private. There’s no screen, no camera, and nothing is recorded.

Who is KidoGuard for?

It’s made for parents of children aged 3 to 10 who want reassurance that their child is okay and within reach, without putting their child under constant surveillance.

How does it find my child without GPS or a SIM card?

You can see your child’s location in the app without a GPS chip or a SIM card, and with no monthly bill. KidoGuard finds its way back to you using the everyday devices already around your child, so there’s no expensive, power-hungry tracking hardware on their wrist. It isn’t a constant live map — it’s there for the moments you need it.

Does KidoGuard track my child every second?

No. KidoGuard avoids constant surveillance. You set safe zones and get an alert if your child leaves one, and you can check their location when you need to — but it doesn’t keep a running map of their every move, and the location is encrypted so only you can see it.

Is my child being recorded or listened to?

No. KidoGuard never records, stores, or sends audio. It can recognise the sound of real distress in the moment to alert you, and that listening is discarded instantly. Your child’s voice and conversations stay theirs.

Is there a camera?

No — and there never will be a camera in any version of KidoGuard.

What does it keep an eye on?

It gently tracks heart rate and blood-oxygen through the day, follows sleep patterns overnight, and lets you know if something looks unusual.

What happens if my child falls or is in trouble?

KidoGuard can sense a serious fall on its own and raise the alarm, and your child can press a single button to call for help. For emergencies it waits for more than one sign of real trouble before alerting you — so you’re warned about genuine emergencies rather than every tumble.

Will I get constant false alarms?

No. Instead of reacting to a single bump, KidoGuard looks for several signs of trouble at once before sending an emergency alert. That means far fewer false alarms, so you can trust it when it does speak up.

How long does the battery last, and how does it charge?

It’s built to last for days between charges. It tops up through a safe, child-friendly magnetic clip with no exposed port, and gains a little extra energy from sunlight when your child plays outdoors.

Can my child wear it swimming or in the bath?

Yes. KidoGuard is swim-proof and bath-proof, so it never has to come off.

Who owns the data, and can I delete it?

You do. Everything KidoGuard learns about your child belongs to you, the information is encrypted, and you can delete all of it anytime with a tap.

When does KidoGuard launch, and how can I get involved?

KidoGuard is still in development and there’s no public launch date yet. You can help shape it by sharing your thoughts through the form on this page, and we’ll reach out as it gets closer.

Who makes KidoGuard?

KidoGuard is built by Ketanjit Singh, a fifteen-year-old founder from Bengaluru, India, around one belief: a child can be safe and still be free.
